so i learned an amazing trick : if you hold the lens backwards against the camera, it will make it a macro lens.
it's really hard to do because you have to have the lens lined up just right and you have to hold it there and if your body moves even slightly it will mess up the focusing.. but its amazing. the photo above is on one of my mom's necklaces. the turquoise stone in the center is one of about 50 that alltogether take up the space of about one square inch on that pendant. you can see the INDIVIDUAL FLAKES OF DUST on the pearl on the left. incredible. i feel like i made a microscope haha. very proud haha |
